Jude is Fourteen!
Last week we celebrated Jude's birthday! We had a special lunch, cake, presents, and games. Birthdays here are twice as fun with teammates!

On our last supply run, the Ukarumpa store forgot to send all our fridge items... so we put aside our last stick of butter for frosting for a cake. THEN Autumn and Josh donated the last of their butter and cream so Jude could enjoy sour cream for the tacos and butter on his breakfast. It is sweet how much appreciation we can feel for gifts like that!

His gifts included a video game, chocolate, and a knife ;)

Oliver organized and created three games: D&D Bingo, a photo scavenger hunt, and blind-folded laser tag:

Or not blind-folded:

Jude is growing up! He is the first to help us find things, he is considerate, and he is smart! He is ace-ing Greek and Algebra, beats all of us in geography games, and loves history.
On Wednesday nights, the boys take turns having a date with me or having a date with Dad and their sisters. Jude and Zach usually take the girls to an imaginary ball on their nights. So precious.
